DESCRIPTION
This was the 2nd youth camp of annual small cat awareness program on 28th September 2015 at Girithale wildlife research center. This was conducted by save fishing cats group for selected open university students who following zoological science degree program.
Students were educated and practiced about wild cats,threats,conservation and also wildlife monitoring techniques such as radio telemetry and camera trapping. Additionally they were educated about threatening and sedating wild animals.This was fully funded by Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation fund.
